About District One

Dedicated Gaming Community

The History of District One

The roots of District One began back in 2009/2010 with the creation of HellbourneProject.com.

A community-driven gaming network built around multiple games, clans, guilds and bringing players together under one name.

The vision was simple: create a place where gamers could build communities, manage their own groups and enjoy different games together.

HellbourneProject.com (2009/2010)

HellbourneProject.com was created as a platform where clans and guilds could create their own identity while remaining connected to a larger gaming community.

Members who became part of the community were given access to manage their own:

  • TeamSpeak 3 clan or guild channels
  • Game servers
  • PHP forum sections
  • Website areas
  • Community administration

Clan and guild leaders had the ability to manage their own communities while being part of HellbourneProject.com.

The TeamSpeak 3 server supported up to 512 players, providing a central place for communities to communicate.

2009/2010

HellbourneProject.com launches as a multi-game community network.

Minecraft Era

Minecraft becomes one of the foundations where the District One identity begins.

Multi Game Expansion

Terraria and additional gaming communities become part of the network.

2026

District One returns with modern dedicated infrastructure.

Minecraft — The Birth of District One

Minecraft became one of the largest parts of the community during its early years.

Instead of running only one Minecraft world, District One expanded into two dedicated Minecraft servers.

A teleportation system allowed players to travel between different Minecraft worlds, creating one connected experience instead of separate servers.

Players could build, explore and create communities across multiple worlds while remaining connected.

Different worlds. Different adventures. One community.

Minecraft Servers

Minecraft Server One: Around 30 players.

Minecraft Server Two: Around 40-50 players.

Terraria

District One: A New Beginning.

Two Terraria servers were created, reaching 20+ players.

The End Of An Era

After several years, gaming communities changed and players moved on to new experiences.

Games became older, interest declined, and maintaining dedicated infrastructure became increasingly difficult.

Due to financial constraints, the original servers were eventually retired.

Although the servers closed, the idea behind the community never disappeared.

District One Returns — 2026

Technology has changed dramatically since the original days.

Modern dedicated hardware, 1Gbps up and down connectivity, automation and improved management tools now make it possible to rebuild the original vision.

District One can once again provide a connected gaming community without the limitations of the past.

The Future of District One

District One is being rebuilt with the same philosophy that started everything:

  • Quality game servers
  • Community events
  • Player statistics
  • Custom server features
  • New games
  • Better community tools

Different games. Different worlds. One community.
